Big hype, little substance

The first impression was not great. The room was more worn than expected, and the loud music from the parking lot made it hard to relax. While the front desk staff were friendly, the unsavory characters lingering outside added to the strange atmosphere. It wasn't the stay I hoped for.

Family with children, better options out there

The front desk staff were understanding, they went out of their way to help, even under difficult circumstances. I felt a little relieved when they switched my room without hesitation when I had issues.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but given the situation, it was acceptable enough.

The pool area was a big hit with the kids, and we also enjoyed exploring the nearby mall for some shopping and dining. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made our stay feel welcoming, especially with a little child in tow.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast could have had better options for families with children.

An Average Stay with Room for Improvement

Our stay lasted three nights in a smoking King room. While the location was convenient, the cleanliness was disappointing. Staff interactions were hit or miss. The breakfast options could use more variety. Be cautious of the pool area—it's a bit crowded at times. Consider bringing your own snacks!

In the heart of a shopping area, the convenience of nearby restaurants was a plus. However, the room showed signs of inadequate renovation, with issues like a dirty bathroom and a cigarette butt found in the drawer of a non-smoking room. Additionally, noise levels were disturbing, with conversations from the lobby clearly audible in the room. It felt unsafe due to the sketchy behavior of individuals around the property, making it an unpleasant experience.

The room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a microwave. It was clean enough but the carpets were super old. The shower had temperature issues, fluctuating from hot to cold. The fitness center and outdoor pool seemed nice, but I didn’t use them. The location was central, but a bit sketchy at night.

My stay here was pure bliss! The room was immaculate, with soft pillows that cradled me to sleep and a spacious desk for all my plans. Plus, the pool was such a fun way to unwind after exploring the vibrant shopping nearby!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and convenient for my travels. The staff greeted me with warmth during check-in, and the room felt clean and had a decent amount of space. I appreciated the comfortable bed after a long day. However, I had trouble with the hot water in the bathroom sink, which was quite frustrating. The noise from the street outside kept me up at night, and I could see that some areas of the hotel, like the breakfast bar, needed better management. The juice tasted watered down, and there was a lack of variety in the breakfast options offered. Overall, I liked the cleanliness and staff friendliness but wished for more attention to detail in certain areas.

Golden Corral is just a hop away, serving up some hearty grub. Plus, the room I stayed in was clean, and staff were a breath of fresh air.

But boy, did I have some hurdles! The vibe outside? Not so chill. A lot of folks loitering and a pungent weed smell that made it hard to enjoy the space. Plus, couldn't catch a break with my late check-out request. bummer.

I requested a move, and they relocated me to a second-floor room without elevator access, which was inconvenient and tiring. On top of that, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and I felt unsafe due to a malfunctioning deadbolt, making for a truly distressing stay.

The King Room was a mix. The room was mostly clean, but the vibe was off. Several lamps didn’t work, and I found bugs in the bathroom. The comforter had a burn hole, and the chairs were stained. The bed was clean but super hard. It felt outdated, and I didn't like the smell of smoke lingering around. There were some weird, unsettling folks hanging outside too, just not a relaxing place to be.

The hotel provided a convenient location with many food choices within a 5-minute drive. The staff was polite during check-in, and the room was clean and mostly well-maintained. The spacious shower had consistent hot water, which was a plus for my stay.

Could not get a later check-out despite offering to pay extra.
